Is the world ready for YotaPhone's union of Android and electronic paper?


Russia -based Yota Devices released its Android version Yotaphone.A phone which contain a unique feature make this phone different from another smartphone .That unique feature is e-ink display.Yotaphone features two 4.3 -inch screens,including an e-ink display.Now with Yotaphone users can watch videos and play games on LCD display.In yotaphone, EPD (electronic paper display) technology is also used,which is not only better for reading books and magazines,but it will also extend the battery life of Yotaphone by transferring applications to the less power-hungry screen.You may say Yotaphone: A uniqe second generation Android Smartphone with another e-ink display.The EPD technology helps save battery life on the YotaPhone, but even when its 1,800mAh battery dies -- the YotaPhone will continue to display important information on the e-ink display, such as texts, emails, tickets, maps and boarding passes.Information stays on the always on the screen until it is no longer needed .
                           Martynov said, adding that the YotaPhone has up to 10 times the lasting power of other smartphones thanks to its e-ink display.Yotaphone, you may say it ''ambitious'' because second screen actually provides a function that other smartphone don't.

Actually Yotaphone is two devices rolled into one : an LTE Android phone with a 4.3 inch screen LCD display on one side plus an e-reader on the other side,offering always on notifications from the OS and luxury of over 60 hours of e-book reading time all this due to e-ink technology.
However Yotaphone  is just seeing its first round of release dates -- the YotaPhone debuts in Germany, France, Russia, Spain and Austria on Wednesday,But Yota Devices did not discuss the possibility of a U.S. release,but it did confirm its plans to release the YotaPhone in the Middle East in early 2014.Price of Yotaphone is about $600 to $700.
"The typical user picks up and activates their smartphone more than 150 times a day," said Yota Devices chief executive Vlad Martynov
